is a black printing resin quality that fluoresces yellow/green under UV light (wavelength ± 365 nm).  One can thus check the authenticity of the print with simple means, a small LED UV lamp, and increase the counterfeit protection.  The ribbon can be used on flat head and card printers.

The quality was developed especially for card printing,  but also achieves very good results on smooth, synthetic materials such as PE, PET, PP and PVC.

The print has good mechanical and chemical resistance.

The T 865 SY can be used where it is necessary to increase the counterfeit protection of valuable printed documents. This can be in the field of product labelling: e.g. protection against counterfeiting for branded products or in the health care sector, but also for monetary documents such as admission tickets, ID cards.

Under sunlight, the UV-activated pigments decompose relatively quickly, over the course of a few months. Protected from sunlight, the colour change under UV light is still very visible after years.
