is a transparent printing resin quality that fluoresces green under UV light (wavelength ± 365 nm).  One can thus make an almost invisible print visible with a simple LED UV lamp, and thus apply an additional security feature that increases counterfeit protection.  The ribbon can be used on flat-head and card printers.

The quality has been specially developed for card printing,  but also achieves very good results on smooth, synthetic materials such as PE, PET, PP and PVC.

The print has good mechanical and chemical resistance, but is not scratch resistant.

This security ribbon can be used where it is necessary to increase the counterfeit protection of valuable printed documents. This can be in the field of product labelling: e.g. protection against counterfeiting of branded products or in the health sector, but also for monetary documents such as admission tickets, ID cards.

Under sunlight, the UV-activated pigments decompose relatively quickly, over the course of a few months. Protected from sunlight, the colour change under UV light is still very visible after years.
