T 160 Sw is an exceptional premium wax quality with - for a wax quality - very high resistance, especially to scratching. The ribbon is very sensitive, it can be printed at low energies and the high quality of the print result can also be achieved over a very wide temperature range.

The resolution is also excellent - the smallest details, such as letters in small font sizes, fine lines, graphics and vertical and horizontal barcodes can be printed in outstanding quality.

The print is very black, surfaces are printed very evenly and homogeneously on vellum, coated and high-gloss papers. However, PE and PP films, PVC and even polyester can also be printed in excellent quality. This thermal transfer ribbon is certified for use in the food sector.

The resistance of the print to mechanical stress is exceptionally high for a wax quality. After 1000 cycles of wiping on the Crockmeter (force 10N = weight 0.981 kg), our standard EAN code is almost intact and still perfectly legible with ANSI grade B. In practice, the print can be described as scratch-resistant, depending on the label material.

The print is also highly resistant to numerous chemicals, including alcohol, engine oil, brake fluid and hydraulic oil

A backcoating that has has proven itself over billions of running metres, together with the high sensitivity, guarantees a long service life for the print heads.

If your customers want to print high-quality labels on a wide variety of materials with excellent durability, this premium wax quality is an excellent choice. In many cases, it can replace significantly more expensive wax/resin products at the price of wax.

We supply this ribbon quality in the standard dimensions of the compact range, which cover the majority of possible applications, from a minimum quantity of 1 carton.  The cartons are all the same size for practical onward shipping and contain between 6 and 36 rolls, depending on the roll size.
