Thermal Transfer Ribbon

P 323 RF

Wax/Resin
Flat-Head

P 323 RF is a red wax/resin quality with fluorescent pigments that has been specially developed for post-franking applications and printing on envelope materials. It can also be used for printing labels if a bright red fluorescent colour is required. The fluorescent effect of the print cannot be copied and so the use of this quality offers increased protection against counterfeiting.

It prints on a wide variety of papers that are used to produce envelopes, but also on other paper materials: vellum, matt, gloss and cast-coated papers and even cardboard materials.

The red colour contains fluorescent pigments - so copies can be clearly distinguished from the original print, which increases the forgery protection of the print. The quality is approved by national postal organisations and is used by leading manufacturers of postal franking systems.

Other applications on paper labels are possible, where the colour highlighting of important information and differentiation through different colours is required.

The print is smudge-proof on paper, but is otherwise not particularly durable.

Shelf life and storage conditions

In principle termal transfer ribbons have a long shelf live. We guarantee that, if stored correctly ( temperature: 5 - 35 °C, relative humidity: 30 - 80 % ) our ribbons remain in perfect condition for use for 1 year from delivery.

Test methods

Our thermal transfer ribbons are tested according to CALOR | REGMA testing procedures.
We are happy to supply details upon request.
